Placing Graphics into a Container:

Use this feature to save time when placing a graphic into a container. You can define the element to contain and then select "Place Graphic into Container" from the Files Menu or use the shortcut for this function. The graphic chosen will then be placed directly into the container, using the predefined container settings.

Customizing Workspace Elements:

Use a new panel in the Preferences dialog to set the colors of various workspace elements. You can specify colors for the Pasteboard, Container windows, Group windows, Paper outline, Printable area outline, page shadow and Magic wand selection and specify the Magic wand frame style.

Checking for Updates:

Receive free updaters at the Creator Software web site. Occasionally, we need to release an updater to correct a problem found after the previous version was released. You can select the Check For Updates link located under the Help Menu to open the Web site where updaters can be downloaded. You can now also set a preference to tell Creator to automatically check for updates when Creator is launched.

Toggle Invisibles:

Specify the invisibles you want to display in the Document Settings dialog box. Invisibles make it possible to see things (elements and text formatting) that are normally represented by empty space. Invisibles do not print. When done, you can toggle the invisibles on or off from the View menu.

Font Usage:

Use the Replace Fonts command to view and change the fonts used in a document. When the Replace Fonts dialog box opens, all the fonts used in the active document will appear in the scroll area. The new Show Usage button located in the Replace Fonts dialog box will show where in your document the font is used.
