VERSION 7.0.4 IMPROVEMENTS
This section describes the major improvements made to MultiAd Creator Professional 7.0.4 for Macintosh since version 7.0.3.
• Preview issue resolved with EPS files placed from CCI Ad Desk.
• Creator 4 files containing memory based PICT graphics will no longer crash Creator Professional.
• Saving changes to an existing document using Creator Professional with OS X Tiger bug has been resolved.
• Files placed in the Files Palette that are later modified will no longer be deleted from the Files Palette, nor crash Creator when dragged to the document.
• Creator Professional will now automatically mount volumes for missing graphics or prompt the user to mount the server.
VERSION 7.0.3 IMPROVEMENTS
This section describes the major improvements made to MultiAd Creator Professional 7.0.3 for Macintosh since version 7.0.2.
• Grayscale TIFF now separates correctly.
• Find Graphic in File Utilities will now locate missing graphics on Mac OS 9 and OS X.
• Edit Color Dialog now utilizes Color Matching Settings where appropriate.
• The Convert RGB to CMYK when generating Postscript or PDF preference setting now converts properly in Windows.
• Creator is now compatible with Adobe Postscript driver v.8.8.
• Improved speed handling for Copy and Paste commands in OS 9.
• EPS files with TIFF preview and binary encoding saved without an extension now place correctly.
• Added a new setting to Include Type 1 Fonts with Custom Encoding to EPS Export Dialog to resolve variances in PC.
• EPS files with Postscript level 2 and 3 encoding now separate correctly.
• An optional parameter to the Creator print AppleScript verb has been added that enables an AppleScript to export a PS file.
• Opening documents with missing files in the Files palette no longer asks to mount the server.
• Find It button will no longer prematurely abort searching a volume.
• Various crashing issues and other minor bugs have been resolved .
VERSION 7.0.2 IMPROVEMENTS
This section describes the major improvements made to MultiAd Creator Professional 7.0.2 for Macintosh since version 7.0.1.
• New preference setting for text that is justified now allows user to specify the amount of spacing to distribute between characters and words. In addition, there is an option to allow text spacing to contract when justifying text. Option found under Format > Paragraph.
• New preference setting for status labels displays the status label in the document window inline with the horizontal scroll bar. Option under Preferences > Status Labels.
• Bleed amount can now be specified when exporting to PDF and EPS format.
• When exporting to PDF and EPS format, spot colors remain as spot colors and overprint trapping setting is retained in the exports.
• When exporting to PostScript and PDF, RGB graphics can be converted to CMYK. Option under Preferences > Graphics.
• The Gather for Output is now a function of the application on both the Mac and PC. It can be found under the File menu.This option creates a folder with everything needed in order to send to print.
• A document can now be centered aligned to the paper size or to the printable area. Preference under Document > Document Settings > Print Defaults.
• Creator 4 style files can now be imported on the Mac.
• Make Fraction command is now an application feature instead of a script. Command under Format > Make Fraction.
• Double clicking on a price as text now selects the entire dollar figure including the currency symbol.
• Auto Fit Text Block option now under Preferences > Text.
• Copy Fit dialog box has a new option called "Ignore trailing returns." Dialog box found under Format > Copy Fit.
• Fonts from the OS X Classic system font folder and the System/Library/Fonts folder can be excluded from a document. Option under Preferences > Text.
• New preference setting allows user to disable the Embolden and Italicize commands. Option under Preferences > Text.
• Replace fonts dialog box now has an Apply and Apply All button on the Mac. Dialog box found under Document > Replace Fonts.
• When a Photoshop image with a clipping path is placed, Creator allows user to choose a specific path saved, instead of defaulting to the designated clipping path.
• Make Matrix dialog box now has an option to link text blocks top-to-bottom-left-to-right or left-to-right-top-to-bottom. Dialog box found under Edit > Make Matrix.
• Mask with Shape script now works with any element instead of only with graphics.
• Attaching Client Data to an exported graphic has been implemented.
• New "sort" Applescript command can sort a text flow in many different ways.
• When placing PDF or EPS files, Creator now warns user about missing fonts.
• New option under the File menu allows user to access recently opened documents. Option found under File Menu > Open Recent.
• Flip tool can now be constrained at 45 degrees with the Shift key.
• Clicking an item in the Files palette now automatically switches to the Place with Cursor mode. Clicking the Place with Cursor button is no longer necessary.
• Tool selectors and buttons in the Tools, Colors, Styles and Files Palettes now have tool tips. Place cursor on top of each to view tips.
• The ability to edit placed text while using Break Text and the Place by hand option has been fixed.
• A shadow or Frame element style can be applied it to a table. You can also add a fill to an individual cell in a table.
• Master spreads now change if you change a document's facing pages setting.
• The Separation submenu in the View menu now consistently shows the spot colors for the frontmost document if you are working with multiple documents.
• Ad Notes from Creator 4 now transfer correctly when opening the document in Creator 7.
• Ctrl+Clicking on the first 4 colors in the Color Palette no longer crashes the application on PC.
• Fixed "Update All Graphics" on the Mac.
• Fixed "Numbering a list" script error on the Mac.
• PhotoShop EPS files with no clipping path now use the TIFF preview correctly in Creator.
• The PC now does not let you have more than one connection of the same name in CMDI.
• CMDI on PC now limits the file name length to 255 characters.
• New Layer names are now limited to 31 characters.
• Rulers can now be turned off in an Open Element window.
VERSION 7.0.1 IMPROVEMENTS
This section describes the major improvements made to MultiAd Creator Professional 7.0.1 for Macintosh since version 7.0.1.
• Creator Media Database Interface (CMDI) is now available.
• Proportional scaling using the Shift Key is now resolved.
• After replacing a word, the spell checker gets off by a character resolved.
• If a placed graphic in a document is updated outside of Creator, an alert is provided that notifies you that the graphic has been modified.
• Resolved problem with text reflowing incorrectly when using Cut & Paste commands.
• Element order now redraws after moving an element from one layer to another.
• Texture shadows on cropped images now preview correctly.
• When an image is deleted while it's placed in a document, the missing graphic info drawn in the spread now shows the file name, folder, and volume.
• "Check graphic for changes when resuming" is now a preferences setting.
• Text that is copied and pasted no longer oversets in a text block.
• Crop and Open Element is now disabled on Tables.
• No longer crashes after inserting rows or applying element styles to a locked table.
• The indent now reflects the Inset in a text block.
• "Rename Layer" has been added to the contextual menu of the Layers Palette
• Creator can now save or export files to the root level of any volume.
• Fixed issues with saving to a mirrored RAID.
• Creator 4 documents that have grouped items now open correctly.

• Issues with AppleScripts containing the "path to" verb that uses one of the folder types defined in Standard Additions resolved.
• Deleting a size in the preferences on Mac OS9 or X no longer crashes Creator.
• The option for "Print Pasteboard Items" has been added.
• Duotones no longer show a grayscale view in "True Preview" mode.
• "Choose Font" Menu is now sizable.
• A grayscale DCS2 EPS that contains a spot channel will now color separate correctly.
• DCS files now preview correctly.
